We had such a wonderful weekend, and Graeme and I wanted to just send a short note to say thank you, and let you know we are very impressed by the professionalism of everyone in Eden, and the way you go about the festival.

It creates a great spirit in the town and makes it fun for everyone.
We were made very comfortable by Fritz in Heritage house – please do thank him for us.
From our perspective, we love music for the sound, and it is so important to us, we always enjoy ourselves if we have nice sound – the museum is a natural auditorium.
The sound in there is amazing and it is a real pleasure to perform in the museum.
Further, your promotion was successful, and the crowd came along, and it makes for a good show.
We played for [Whale Song organiser] Sam [Martin] in the Fishermen’s Club, and the kids played on into our slot a little so we started late but finished on time so as not to impose on the next act.
I hope this was cool, we were just trying to make things go smoothly.
Sam, thanks for everything.
I would like to mention the professionalism of Blake Foden from the Magnet, and thank Blake for his write-ups and for posting the video of the ‘Old Tom’ song – I reposted it.
We have had people from Minnesota, Alabama, Florida and Memphis comment on it, so the festival is now being noticed in America just so you know – so huge thanks to Blake, and please know your posting efforts are making it to a bigger audience.
We met with Peter Whiter, a beaut bloke, and we also have some high-resolution video, and I am sure you don’t need any prompting, but I have some ideas how we could use the recording to promote the museum, or use it in the museum.
I also have a nice video I took on my phone of Barry [Smith] telling the Old Tom story.
So to you, the museum curators and the festival team and to the Magnet, and particularly to Jenny [Drenkhahn], thank you for allowing us to come to Eden and giving us such a wonderful weekend.
It meant a lot to us to play in the Eden Killer Whale Museum, and we have very fond memories of you all and our trip to Eden.
We think of you as mates..
