Ron and Julie Lambourn’s Weecon Street residence is certainly one of them.
A beautiful, sea-themed garden overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Ross’s Bay and Snug Cove, the garden has been a passion of Ron’s since he began landscaping it 22 years ago.
Your chance to see it up close comes this weekend, when the Lambourns and five other keen gardeners in and around town open their gardens to the public for a special fundraising event.

Residents of the Bega Valley Shire are in for a real treat, as the Ken Duncan Coastal Signature Gallery will be held at Club Sapphire Merimbula this weekend.
Ken Duncan is Australia's premier landscape photographer and is best known for his stunning array of panoramic landscape images from Australia and around the world.
This gallery will feature his stunning images of the Far South Coast that include shots of Glasshouse Rocks, Camel Rock, Corunna Lake and the Bega hinterland.

The Eden A Grade cricket side hasn't had the start it had hoped for this season, but there's still plenty of time to turn it around.
The boys are on the road this weekend, but will be counting on the support of their fellow Edenites when they take to the pitch against Tathra at 1pm on Saturday.
Following losses to Merimbula and South Eurobodalla, the defending premiers will be looking to bounce back in style.
With the likes of Drew Mudaliar and Andrew Evelyn opening the batting, the dangerous father-son combination of Mark and Corey Spink, and a bowling attack led by captain Reece Wheeler and speedster Tyrone Thomas, they're certainly not down at out yet.
The match will be played at Lawrence Park, Tathra.
People all over New South Wales are encouraged to become birdwatchers for a day, on Sunday, as part of the annual white ibis, and now sulphur-crested cockatoo, census.
The National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) wants to better understand where these birds are breeding and what areas they are using across the landscape, and they need your help to find out.
All the details can be found here.
