The kids took to the track in excellent conditions on Saturday.
Jason French was the only rookie on the track, but he bettered his own best time and got the track record for that direction.
Organisers said the young drivers provided some excellent lap times, with the first of the cadets Bailey Cooper finishing just .06 of a second behind French.
Meanwhile, Max Essai enjoyed his third race meeting after taking up karting earlier this year.
He showed fantastic progress during the meet, with his initial lap times at 52 seconds dropping to just 47 seconds at the end of the day.
A regular to karting, but a newcomer to the Sapphire Coast course Lawrence Shepherd-Ashby finished third.
He also improved his lap times despite it being his first visit to the track.
The club thanked the kids for their persistence and determination to get on the track and have a go.
Organisers said they would love to welcome any newcomers who would like to take part.
Anyone interested in taking up the sport is invited to head to the Frogs Hollow track and watch the next meet on November 1 from 11am.
