The club believes this year’s competition can be better then last year with cash prizes for senior divisions, and fishing tackle and vouchers for the junior winners.
Each prize which is not collected across the weekend will go into a “mighty draw” for anglers who have not won a fishing prize.
In a bonus for anglers, if the weekend is a total white out all prizes will be drawn.
Anglers will be issued a ticket when they produce their allocated registration number but they must be present at the weigh in on Sunday to pick up drawn prizes.
Anglers should not be deterred by inclement weather as they could still win a prize.
Organisers praised the support of local sponsors and hoped to see seniors, juniors, visitors and families enjoying the competitive fishing tournament.
Remember keep those rods held high and those lines tight.
