A group of prolific Eden golfers banded together to form a gun team for last weekend’s Holden Scramble.

The club played host to a regional round of the annual event, with 19 teams teeing up over the weekend.
Organisers said visitors travelled from Mallacoota in the south, Tuross Head to the north and west to Cooma.
The winning team with an impressive 59 gross, nett 54.50 included the club’s champion and runner-up.
Club champion Andrew Collins (plus two handicap) and runner-up Matt Creswick (one handicap) joined forces with Todd Bolton and Roger Fletcher.
The squad played an excellent round to edge out a Bermagui squad by a narrow margin.
The Bermagui outfit, which included club superintendent Dave Thompson carded net 55.
Third-place getters were a team captained by former local Adrian Hall with a score of 56.12 nett.
Fourth place was claimed by the squad that advanced to the regional finals last year, captained by Dave Langenbaker.
The winning team will now pair up with club professional Loraine Lambert for a regional final to be played at the Federal Golf Club in Canberra next month.
The club thanked Bega Valley Motors for their generous sponsorship of the event and wished the team luck for the regional final.
Nearest the pin winners during the scramble were the third Noel Hall, eighth Tim Cashmore, 10th Matt Creswick and 18th Doug Skeates.
Skeates also claimed the golden shot.
