US rate fears set to hit Australian share market

Anxiety about higher US interest rates is expected to weigh down the Australian share market when it opens on Monday. While the US Federal Reserve is unlikely to raise the federal funds rate this week, investors are worried its accompanying statement may signal an end to quantitative easing sooner than expected.
