An RMS spokesperson said the work, which recommenced on Monday, is scheduled to finish next Friday, September 5, with minimal disruption to motorists.
“On Monday, work started to stabilise the slope above the Princes Highway, with concrete reinforcement to prevent rock falls,” the spokesperson said.
“This work will be completed on Friday, September 5, weather permitting.
“Final resealing work and line marking will then be carried out.
“The Princes Highway will remain open to traffic in both directions during work hours, with a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h in place from 7am-5pm, and returning to 60km/h after 5pm.
The scheduled works are part of a $1million NSW Government-funded project.
