Members were chasing Morwong for the goblet fish and the AGM followed.
Twenty-one members weighed in a total of 78 fish, 13 of which were Morwong and three juniors also weighed in.
Ross Parker took home the goblet reeling in a 1.55kg morwong and he collected the men’s outside prize with the same fish.
Jo Starling won ladies’ lake and estuary with a bream weighing 1.26kg after 10 per cent for catch and release was removed from the final weight.
Jo also took out the ladies outside division with her 840-gram snapper.
Perry Franke caught a nice flathead at 2.03kg which won him men’s lake and estuary.
Merv Roberts hit the rocks over the weekend and his 650-gram blackfish earned him the men’s rock and beach prize.
The junior prize went to Brendan Beileiter with a 770-gram snapper and to show that you “never know”. Gavin Robinson won the mystery weight prize with a pigfish.
The turkey of the month went to Pam Alexander whose husband let the boat drift from the wharf as she was disembarking and as a result she ended up in the drink.
