Thursday, 5.00PM: An ACT Health spokesperson has confirmed that the patient has arrived at Canberra Hospital and is in the process of receiving treatment.
An update on his condition is not yet available. We will have more to report tomorrow.
Thursday, 2.50PM: The patient has been airlifted to Canberra Hospital. He was freed by emergency crews, after a branch fell from the tree pinned him to the ground around the pelvic region earlier in the afternoon.
There are no updates on his condition at this stage. Stay tuned for details as they come to hand.
Thursday, 1.00PM: The Snowy Hydro SouthCare helicopter has landed at Wyndham Oval.
Thursday, 12.35PM: Police, fire brigade and ambulance services have arrived at a property in off Burragate Road near Wyndham, where a male in his 50s has been trapped under a tree.
A Snowy Hydro SouthCare spokesperson has confirmed the rescue helicopter was tasked to assist around 12.10pm and is currently airborne and en route.
It is believed the chopper will land at Wyndham Oval.
