The local residents are among over 65,000 taking part worldwide, with all Bupa facilities holding their own challenges this month.
Country and western was a popular choice as this year’s theme, following on from rock ‘n’ roll at the Eden facility’s first challenge last year.
‘Que Sera, Sera’ and ‘She’ll Be Coming ‘Round the Mountain’ were among the highlights, with many residents also singing along.
Bupa Eden general manager Peta Bentley says the day is the result of two months in preparation.
“It’s all about healthy living for the residents and also for the staff, and we’re all enjoying having a bit of fun for the afternoon,” she said.
“This year, the residents wanted country and western, and Naomi [Turnbull] has put in a lot of work.
“The carriage out the front was loaned to us for the day by Oaklands as part of that theme.
“The Wobbles have donated their time to perform, and they’ve been practicing for about six weeks to come up with the repertoire.”
