A free diver, found motionless on the ocean floor in 12 meters of water, is about to be airlifted from Eden.
The Snowy Hydro SouthCare Rescue Helicopter has landed at a local sports oval to airlift the man to hospital.
It is understood the diver was free diving in about 12 metres of water when he experienced difficulties.
He was found motionless on the ocean floor.
He is understood to have stopped breathed when brought to the surface.
CPR was commenced for some time while a 000 call was made.
The diver, showing signs of life, was then placed in the recovery position, where he remained until Eden Water Police arrived.
