Whale in Snug Cove

This juvenile humpback whale dropped into Snug Cove on Wednesday  morning to check things out before heading back out to sea.

The whale sighting is one of a number this week, with Cat Balou Whale Watching charter owner, Ros Butt, reporting they saw another humpback in Twofold Bay on Monday.

“It didn’t look too well; it looked like it had cookie-cutter shark bites on it,” Mrs Butt said.

These sightings follow reports of two whales in Ross’ Bay, also this week.
