Eden will be hitting your TV screens, with WIN News in town filming stories for their 7pm bulletin.

The network plans to air stories on the possible construction of a wave attenuator at Snug Cove, and the effect of Japanese whaling on the local community and the Eden Killer Whale Museum, among others.

WIN News journalist Jennifer Bechwati said viewers could expect to watch stories on local issues from Batemans Bay to Eden over coming nights, and into next week.

“We’re down here for a couple of days doing a number of stories on a variety of local issues,” she said.

“As well as the safe harbour and whaling stories, we’re doing one about oyster farming and another about a local road that’s causing a bit of havoc.

“They’ll be on throughout the week and going into next week.”
