Eden local Richard Lamacraft led the procession, ahead of 460 Squadron members Michael O'Brien, Michael Kimmorley, Matthew Shepley, Steve Knowles, Katie Devenish and Tina Kent.

Several of Eden's most decorated veterans also participated in the march, which began at the intersection of Imlay and Chandos Streets.

Hundreds showed their appreciation for the marchers, who then turned at the roundabout into Bass Street, and again onto Calle Calle Street as they reached RSL Hall.

They were greeted at the Eden cenotaph by an attentive and respectful crowd for the 11am service, led by Eden RSL sub-branch members Allen Greening, Steve Mahoney, Barrie Beck and Peter Rice.
