The 20th seasonal produce markets were held at the pretty Nethercote Community Hall on Saturday and the place was jam packed...pardon the pun!
Ena Anderson had her lip-smacking range of jams, preserves and chutneys, Wild Rye Bakery bread was walking out like...hot bread, Chris and Ray Tynan had the freshest unopened oysters, right next door to Sue O'Rourke from Rocky Hall wines.
Barbara Greenwood was a whirling dervish selling excess summer produce from local market gardens, the Nethercote Resident's Association plated up the most satisfying cakes and slices to go with freshly brewed plunger coffee and the outdoor tables and chairs saw a steady stream of bums on seats as market-goers soothed out to the Easy Street jazz trio.
All this in the most picturesque little valley on the Far South Coast!
