Nominations close for the Excellence in Eden Business Awards on August 10, giving local businesses and individual providers another week in which to impress customers and be nominated.
Preparations are well underway for the gala awards ceremony to be held on August 25 at the Eden Fishermen’s Recreation Club and ticket sales commence next week. Bookings (individual and tables of ten) can be made at the club by phoning 6496 1577.
Payment is required at the time of booking. Tickets are $90 each and include a four-course gourmet meal, wine, beer and soft drink, live music from Kitty Kat and the Band of Thieves and the announcement of the six award winners.
Eden can look forward to welcoming a special guest of honour at this year’s event. This mystery guest is a triple Olympian, a gold medallist, currently commentating at the London Olympics in one of Australia’s favourite sports.
