An teenager will face court next month following an alleged stabbing in Eden on Tuesday.
At about 5pm, two teens were standing on the driveway of a property on Cook Drive, Eden, when they were approached by another group of teenagers.
Police have been told that a verbal confrontation occurred and a 14-year-old boy allegedly stabbed a 19-year-old man.
Police arrived on the scene shortly after and arrested the young person.
The victim was taken to Pambula Hospital with minor facial injuries. He was later released from hospital.
The 14-year-old was subsequently charged with reckless wounding, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and armed with intent to commit serious indictable offence.
He was given conditional bail and will appear in Eden Children’s Court on September 4, 2013.
