Once a jolly swagman

Waltzing Matilda is as Aussie as you can get but do you really know what a jumbuck is?

Come along to the Eden Killer Whale Museum this Friday (January 4) or next Wednesday (January 9) at 2pm and find out when Arch the swaggie spends an hour of fun, song and hands-on tomfoolery to introduce kids to this iconic Australian verse.

While you’re at the museum, explore Eden’s whaling and timber past, join a tour of the lighthouse, see Old Tom’s skeleton and so much more at this award winning regional gem.

The Eden Killer Whale Museum has been in operation for over 80 years and is recognised as one of the most progressive and innovative museums in regional NSW.

The museum is a publically owned facility managed by a small but enthusiastic voluntary committee and has been extensively upgraded and expanded in the last 20 years.

The Committee’s aim is to implement the best museum practices whilst still providing entertaining and educational presentations to our visitors

The Eden Killer Whale Museum is open from 9.15am to 4.45pm daily.

Admission: adults $9, seniors, $8.50 children $2.50.
