The Eden Gardens Country Club capped off its term four junior golf program with a Christmas party on Sunday.
Program cadets, parents and grandparents attended on the day, which included playing golf, a barbecue and presentation.
Young gun Ryan Fulton won the Nemos award. Ryan loves his golf and his favourite colour is yellow, although it won’t be long before he starts teeing off from the blue markers.
Star of the future, Morgan Thornton, won the Starfish award. Morgan is a three-year veteran of the program and he is committed to improving his game by hitting balls on the range most Sunday mornings.
Corey Hard won the Whales award. The 28 handicapper is a pennants player and regularly competes in the men’s Saturday competition.
The junior program runs for six weeks during the school term on a Wednesday afternoon.
The 2013 programs will be run at Eden and Bega Golf Clubs.
