2:58 PM AEDT | I can’t help but be the Pollyanna this week - the weather is just too glorious for words not to be anything else.
And with it we received the unexpected boon of the cruise ship MS Volendam, bringing over 1000 visitors to Eden on Tuesday. Bateman’s Bay’s loss was definitely Eden’s gain.

Having a job - or a source of income - is essential to being able to survive.
So when these two issues clash head on, it’s bound to get messy.

I would like to congratulate the group of Eden girls who attended the netball carnival in Merimbula on Sunday.
Our girls all did Eden proud.
They were up against teams bigger, stronger, older and more experienced.
They dealt with all conditions: wind, showers, cold and smoke.
20 Aug 09 | On Friday a public meeting will be held at the Great Southern Inn at 4.30 pm which I urge anyone who has an interest in developing tourism, or in just developing this town, to attend.
