I would like to take a small space in your paper to say I am tired of the dust which comes off the road from the traffic that goes down our road.
These people who live down there may have the same problem.
I am an asthmatic and spent quite a lot of time in hospital from the dust.
It’s not a nice feeling gasping for breath with an asthma attack and not knowing if it will be your last breath or not.
When it rains, the water from the road comes in my place and I have a trench dug to stop the water from coming in.
Further more, we also have problems with our entrance (from the highway). It is quite dangerous to enter and exit for traffic. For example, one vehicle has already had an accident.
Do we have to wait until someone dies in one to get this problem fixed?
There is myself, my son and daughter and her three children live here.
We need this road to be safe so our children can cross safely and not receive health problems due to this road.
We need to do something about:
The dust.
The water off the road, and
Fix the entrance before there is an accident that could possibly cause death.
